The Erotic Artist Cooperative Structure
Guiding Concepts
The organizational structure of an erotic artist cooperative serves the
following principles:
- Our mission is to collaborate in producing erotic art of lasting aesthetic
value.
- We are committed in all aspects of our project to maintaining a safe and
constructive working environment in which the complex sexuality of each
participant is respected.
- In particular, we will ensure that "safer sex" guidelines are observed
uniformly and rigorously in any interactions between people not in a primary
relationship with one another.
- We agree that ownership of each work created is jointly held by the people
who contributed to making it, in pre-agreed percentages of shares, as
governed by a standard agreement.
- We agree that decisions concerning release, sale and distribution of the
work are made by vote of the shareholders weighted by the percentage of
shares held.
- We agree that any profits generated from sales of the work are distributed
to the shareholders in proportion to their percentage of shares held.
Criteria for Success
We undertake this work in the belief that sex is beautiful and good.
The idea is to create works that are sexy (a big turn-on), aesthetically
pleasing, thought-provoking, healing, ambitious, and of lasting
value — something that everyone involved can take pride in.
