Ecstatic Experiences

This section contains people's accounts of ecstatic experiences, whether sexual, spiritual, or a combination of the two. 

Sometimes orgasm can transport us in a way that is almost painfully beautiful. 

Sometimes, through meditation and spiritual work, we can experience a revelation so intense that it seems to change everything. 

Often, these experiences are ineffable — difficult or impossible to communicate. 

But if you've had an experience of that sort of transcendence that you feel moved to share, please do try to describe it as best you can, or at least the context in which it occurred.  It' encouraging to know that such transcendent moments do occur in many people's lives.
